Mechanical Design Engineer
Fat Brain Toy Co., an award-winning designer of toys and games, is currently searching for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. This position will play a significant role in the evolution of our product development team.
- Job Responsibilities:Work with product design team to bring product concepts to life
- Create 3D models to help facilitate both concept ideation as well as manufacturing
- Generate technical drawings and specifications as needed to facilitate manufacture
- Research various materials and methods of production
- Qualifications:Ability to visually and verbally communicate through sketches, renderings, and prototypes
- Highly proficient in 3D computer software programs (Fusion 360 a big plus)
- Experienced with 3D printing technologies
- Possess knowledge about materials and manufacturing processes used in plastic injection moulding
- An Associates or Bachelor Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Ability to work as a team with other designers and business users
- An eagerness to learn and a "can-do" work ethic
