Corporate Social Responsibility Diversity & Inclusion Intern (Req 122107)

Responsibilities:
Working closely with the CSR Committee and KLA Foundation, the CSR Diversity & Inclusion intern will provide a comprehensive assessment on internal and external D&I programs that will assist in driving a D&I strategy for the KLA Foundation. A significant part of the role is conducting research, interviewing both internal and external key stakeholders, gathering data and presenting information and recommendation to management. Understanding external trends and having the ability to transfer these trends to a strategic plan is key. 
Responsibilities include:
  • Researching and advising on diversity and inclusion issues where KLA sites are present
  • Gathering diversity and inclusion future workforce data
  • Assessing the D&I community programs across the U.S and providing recommendations on potential strategic community partners
  • Identifying external trends and benchmarking other companies D&I community programs 
  • Reviewing KLA hiring needs and correlating to KLA Foundation D&I plans
  • Assist with implementing the CSR database
  • Presenting findings to Global CSR Committee, KLA Foundation and HR teams.

Qualifications:
This role requires an understanding and awareness of diversity and inclusion issues. As the diversity and inclusion intern, you must be able to work independently. Being personable and strong communicator with all levels within an organization are important. Extensive interviewing is required. Strong Microsoft Office software skills are necessary to present the results of the assessment and the final report. Awareness of global and cultural issues is essential.
