Financial Writing Fashion Industry Internship
Love financial news and the stock market? Fashion Week produces weekly content on stock performances and other financial and business news in the fashion industry that gets produced for television and broadcast in multiple languages across over 100 countries.
This is a 12-week internship requiring a minimum of 15 hours a week, for college students with a passion for writing in a fun, relatable style following an SEO-optimized format.
The program also teaches writers how to maximize their social media presence using platforms beyond Facebook and Twitter.
Interns will receive regular feedback on their work from editors, and will be followed throughout the program by our staff of professional journalists while doing weekly assignments and survey.
***This internship is a telecommuting position and can be done virtually anywhere there is an internet connection.
What you can accomplish with us:
-Build your personal portfolio. Everything you write goes under your writing profile that is searchable via Google, Bing, Yahoo and any other search engine.
-Undergo on-the-job training to provide a working knowledge of online publishing.
-Learn how to use social media for self-promotion and personal branding. Use of Facebook, Twitter, StumbleUpon, Reddit, etc is REQUIRED.
-Interview fashionistas!
Part of the screening process will include assessment of your skills with an original writing sample.
