The Loeb Center's Alumni-in-Residence program is excited to offer 20-minute office hour appointments with Kim Karetsky '99. Whether you are looking to connect with a senior woman in business, learn more about being an entrepreneur, or are seeking advice on how to become a better leader or strategic networker, Kim Karetsky '99 is the perfect alumna to meet.
Kim Karetsky is the Founder and CEO of KHK Leadership and Learning, a consulting business which designs and implements customized professional development and leadership services for organizations and individuals. Kim serves as a strategic advisor to her clients, helping to enhance their productivity and business results through engaged and dedicated employees, strong leaders, and a healthy corporate culture.
Prior to launching KHK Leadership and Learning in 2017, Kim spent over 15 years in leadership and professional development roles at Goldman, Sachs & Co. and J.P. Morgan Chase. She has dedicated her career to enhancing the culture of these organizations by building robust programs that promote the commercial and leadership talent of top performing producers and senior leaders globally.
Kim built and led the global Advisor Development Group within the Asset Management Division at J.P. Morgan. She coached senior leaders and their teams to establish strong, trusting relationships that enhance team culture. She designed and implemented professional development initiatives on topics including: leadership and management, interpersonal skills, executive presence, sales and client communication for all levels from Associate to Managing Director. She is certified in the Hogan and Interpersonal Leadership Styles Personality Assessments.
Prior to joining J.P. Morgan in 2008, Kim worked in Goldman Sachs’ Pine Street Leadership Development Group where she created and led programs to enhance the leadership skills of Partners, Managing Directors, and select clients of the firm.
After graduating from Amherst College with a BA in Psychology, Kim started her career in 1999 at Goldman Sachs in the Private Wealth Management Division. Kim received her MBA from Columbia Business School in 2006 with a concentration in Leadership and Management. She was the Chair of the Columbia Business School Integrity Board and selected as a member of the Leadership Board of The Sanford C. Bernstein Center for Leadership and Ethics. In addition to her work in finance, Kim has a passion for medicine and medical ethics and earned her Master in Bioethics from the University of Pennsylvania in 2007 after spending a year doing academic research in Neuroethics at the Stanford Center for Biomedical Ethics.
Kim is a Trustee and President of the Alumnae Association of The Chapin School in New York City where she lives with her husband, Simon Krinsky, and daughter, Eve.
