Commodity Trading Intership

 

Come join Viking Forest Products or Viking Specialty Supply one of the top North American wholesalers of Wood Products, Dairy Commodity goods, and Chemicals. We are based in Eden Prairie, MN trade commodities mostly throughout North America but also do some international trading. We are looking for a bright, highly motivated, competitive, self-starting individuals who want get an inside view of what a commodity trading floor looks like. 

We have immediate internship positions open in our transportation department. You would learn the ins and outs of our business on a salary internship position with option for advancement to our trading floor post graduation. Your initial duties will be booking loads from mills or ports to customers all over the US, while working closely with traders to better understand their job and how you can help them with logistics.  The internships have the potential to lead to a 100% commission based commodity trading position, with no cap on earnings.

Viking Forest Products and Viking Specialty Supply can offer you the opportunity to learn about trading commodities, see the effects of supply and demand in the commodity market, learn how money is made trading and lean on the logistics of how products are moved via truck and rail throughout the country. 

If you are an energetic person with the drive to problem solve and create additional profit on a daily basis, we are looking to build on to our current trading floor of 40 traders.  

We are interested in talking to sophomores, juniors, or seniors seeking a summer internship.
