Landscape Architecture Intern, Richmond, VA

QE’s Richmond, Virginia office is seeking a creative, talented, full-time landscape architect intern for the summer of 2020.

Responsibilities include working in a team environment in all phase of design and documentation for a range of project types including educational, cultural, and heritage. The successful candidate would be exposed to a wide range of project responsibilities and tasks including producing construction documents, assisting with construction site visits, and producing renderings and graphics for presentations. The responsibilities would vary over the course of the summer, but we aim to expose our interns to a variety of tasks and project types in order to provide a rich internship experience.

Candidates must have excellent design, production and communication skills. Freehand sketching, 3D modeling/visualization, and Autocad production skills are highly desirable. Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, & Illustrator) is also highly desirable. Architectural work experience in new and renovation projects will also be taken into consideration.
