2020 Bridge to Business NYC Immersion
The Bridge to Business Immersion Experience is an opportunity for undergraduate students with non-business majors to explore business careers and employers in NYC.
This unique program offers students the chance to interact with corporate partners and dedicated SU Alumni, while gaining inside knowledge to help further their personal and professional development Sunday, January 5, through Wednesday, January 8, 2020.
The format for each company visit will vary throughout our time on the trip, but the overall goal is to expose students selected to a variety of industries, job functions and corporate cultures. This hands-on learning experience will allow each student insight into their career interests and what it takes to achieve their goals.
This program is open to Syracuse University sophomores and juniors. Should students be selected to attend, Central Career Services seeks a $100 non-refundable commitment from selected participants indicating their intention to attend. The fee includes accommodations in New York City and an Alumni Networking Reception. All students are required to stay with the group and stay two people to a room. Students are responsible for all meals not provided by the sponsoring companies as well as transportation to/from and while in New York City.
The deadline to apply will conclude at 9pm on Sunday, October 27th. All completed applications will be reviewed by a selection committee, post this date and students that are selected will be notified by notified by Friday, November 1st. For those that are selected, you will be required to attend a professional development and informational workshop later into Semester (more information provided at a later date).
