The candidate should have a Ph.D. degree in Immunology, Genetics, Biotechnology or a related discipline. The project specifically requires skill sets related to engineering, purification and production of viral vectors, immunology, gene editing, gene delivery, cell biology, protein science. Background in neuroscience, behavioral assay, gene therapy, ophthalmology and electrophysiology is preferred.

The candidate will be responsible for drug development, quality test/control, analytical method validation/ verification activities, writing protocols/reports/manuscripts and presenting results to cross-functional team.
The selected candidate will have excellent opportunities to interact with experts in Biomedical Optics, Optogenetics, Bioengineering, Biochemistry, and Clinical/preclinical research for multidisciplinary training. The candidate will have opportunity to also work in our highly rated animal facilities that include behavioral and electrophysiological instruments.
