Holleway Capital Seeks Private Equity Analyst
Holleway Capital Partners (the “Fund”) is a new St. Louis-based private equity firm formed to acquire profitable, niche, greater Midwest-based, lower middle-market manufacturing and distribution businesses with annual revenue between $10 million and $100 million. Holleway’s investment team has over 40 years of combined experience acquiring companies. The Fund is an SBIC licensee and is looking to add an Analyst to its team in St. Louis, Missouri.
This is an opportunity to gain private equity experience working for a fund with dedicated capital. The Analyst will work directly with the Fund’s senior leadership across all aspects of deal sourcing, deal review and diligence, new investments and associated financings, and portfolio company monitoring and oversight.
Experience:
Ideal Analyst candidate will have ties to the Midwest and must possess the following qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to read, analyze and interpret company financial statements
- Extreme proficiency at Microsoft Excel and the ability to quickly and accurately create LBO financial models and operating models is critical to our interest
- Ability to quickly and efficiently complete industry and competitive analysis
- Outstanding organizational and analytical skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline driven environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)
- Strong presentation skills (both oral and written); able to deliver compelling and concise presentations
- Self-motivated with strong work ethic and energy
- Ability to work as a member of a small team handling a wide range of responsibilities
- Excellent educational background; bachelor’s degree required
- Prior work experience in (a) investment banking, (b) credit/leveraged lending, (c) accounting transaction advisory, (c) relevant industry corporate development/M&A a plus
Job Description:
Analyst will participate across the firm’s investment and business development activities, with a primary emphasis on the following areas:
- Logging, reading, analyzing and summarizing new investment opportunities and providing initial fit analysis relative to Holleway’s investment criteria
- Perform industry research, due diligence and associated analyses related to prospective and existing investments
- Review and analyze financial statements, business operating trends and relevant industry data
- Prepare and review financial analyses, including LBO models, detailed operating models, and investment valuation materials
- Prepare written summaries, due diligence packages, presentation materials and investment memorandums
- Support marketing and business development activities as needed
- Administrative responsibilities as needed
