Senior Scientist, Antibody Discovery
Role Description:
GenScript is recruiting a professional in antibody discovery to facilitate reagent antibody services. The capability of reagent antibody discovery strategy design and troubleshooting is crucial for this position. Extensive experiences in hybridoma-based antibody discovery and antibody activity confirmation is preferred. You will closely cooperate with production teams related to reagent antibody discovery.
Key Responsibilities:
· Responsible for the process related to reagent antibody discovery, including analysis design, execution, troubleshooting and other duties as needed.
· Responsible for upgrading and optimizing reagent antibody discovery platform.
· Responsible for training specialists for reagent antibody discovery and optimizing production processes.
· Responsible for collaborating and training with business teams with advertising reagent antibody discovery services and customer management.
· Participate in advising strategies on reagent antibody discovery and related operations, as well as the business development.
Qualifications:
· Ph.D. in immunology, structural biology, molecular biology, medical engineering or antibody engineering with at least 2 years of antibody engineering related experience(lab experience included); or a master in the related fields with at least 5 years antibody engineering related experience.
· Antibody drug discovery related working experience in CRO or biotech companies is preferred.
· Proven interpersonal and communication skills and enthusiasm for participating in a fast-paced environment of rigorous science and innovative thinking; experience in team management.
· Scientific skills to identify issues, analyze and conduct troubleshooting; strong learning agility to follow related innovative technologies in the field.
· Familiar with antibody discovery technology and methods in related experimental platform; familiar with computational tools that are commonly used in antibody engineering.
· Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Chinese, verbally and in writing (CET 6 or above).
