Practicum or unpaid internship for UT-Houston students or limited others in adult cardiac surgery, cardiac transplantation & mechanical cardiac assistance

This experience is a practicum designed for University of Texas School of Public Health students. Limited other students from the University of Texas, Rice, University of Houston, Baylor, or other institutions officially affiliated with the Texas Medical Center in Houston can be considered for an unfunded internship. Applicants should have completed college, be in graduate level programs, be in medical school, or be in residency training.

The research experience is in clinical adult cardiac surgery, cardiac transplantation, and mechanical cardiac assist. The training centers on accumulation of clinical data and its analysis.
