Marketing, Sales, and Communications Intern
Heart to Heart Communications, Inc. is seeking an undergraduate student intern to assist in the growth of our organization. Ideal candidate would be majoring in Business Administration - preferably with an emphasis in Sales, Marketing, Communication, and/or Management. Past work training and experience in development, marketing, and sales is a bonus.
This person should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with knowledge of Web and social media. PowerPoint, Word and Excel experience is a bonus, and will be considered when choosing the best applicant for this internship position.
Intern will gain experience in a wide variety of areas having to do with business development and daily operations of a small, nonprofit organization – marketing, planning, networking, sales, training, etc.
Responsibilities:
Marketing, Communication, and Sales – help drive the value proposition of H2H through social media, advertising, etc.
· Joint call potential clients to describe H2H services and programs
- Assist with the preparation and delivery of training materials
- Assist in preparation of “Intro to Heart to Heart” presentation to be shared in 30 or 60 minutes
- Provide support to social media efforts
o Regular posts on primary outlets establishing Heart to Heart as a thought leader in developing the heart of organizations.
o Promoting Heart to Heart events such as quarterly and annual breakfasts.
o Pursuing and placing the best types of posts to prioritize on our primary outlets (LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook).
- Assist in planning of upcoming Quarterly Breakfast and other special events
Requirements:
· Assist the Executive Director and Office Manager in developing and promoting the work of Heart to Heart Communications to existing and prospective clients.
· Attend regular staff meetings (monthly).
· Attend monthly Marketing Committee Meetings.
· Attend other meetings, events, trainings as requested.
· Shadow Executive Director and/or Certified Facilitator for first-hand experience of Heart to Heart program delivery.
