Entry Level Manufacturing Engineer
Major Responsibilities :
- Perform activities related to improving the quality, efficiency, and cost of operations within the manufacturing facility related to off-highway equipment and heavy machinery
- Fixture design & procurement
- Lifting device design & procurement
- Packaging design and procurement
- Understanding of torque tooling as it applies to fasteners
- Correct the facility layout, Create 3D models & 2D drawings of the existing tools & fixtures
- Tooling & Fixture crib quantity determination & maintenance
- Conduct line-balancing activities, time studies, and root cause analysis to determine bottlenecks and focus areas for improvement
- Create supporting documentation such as Bill of Material, Standard Work, SOPs, and Engineering Change Notices.
- Regularly attend project meetings and take ownership of action items related to Six Sigma improvements, process improvements, process implementation, etc
Education Requirement: Bachelors Degree in Industrial, Manufacturing
Salary: $50,000/year. Training is paid and full time benefits are offered.
