Master's Student Support
As a Master's Student Support on the Marketing/Commercialization team, you will be performing a mixture of administrative duties and ongoing project support work. Intrigued yet? You will be working at our Kellogg Specialty offices in Elmhurst, IL. Want to know more about our Specialty Business? At Kellogg, the U.S. Specialty channel business means we focus on products that are sold in non-grocery-store venues like convenience stores, cafeterias, college campuses and such. You’ll have the opportunity to represent some of Kellogg’s top brands: Pop-Tarts, Pringles and Cheez-Its, Eggo and MorningStar Farms! Now, let’s achieve something great together!
HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
- The Daily Grind – You’ll be responsible for supporting the execution of digital and communications including website, trade advertising, email marketing, market research and social media as well as the development of digital selling tools and customized promotions.
- You’re Part of a Team – In this role, you’ll support internal employee communications and social media groups and work with internal marketers and advertising, digital and research support agencies to ensure projects are progressing on time and within budget.
- Special Projects – There are 3 openings in our Elmhurst office: One role is on our Insights team and 2 roles on the Marketing team.
- And you have to be able to juggle – Multiple and conflicting priorities will come up under specific time constraints. You have to be quick to act when these issues arise.
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
Required:
- Pursuing degree in Marketing, Communications, Nutrition Marketing, Market Research or other related field at an accredited institution
- Enrolled in at least 6 credit hours
- Must live within a commutable distance to the work location
- Minimum of 2.7 GPA (Cumulative)
- Pursuing a Master's degree
- Available for a 12-month assignment and up to 29 hrs./week beginning in April/May 2019.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Bonus Points:
- Experience with marketing in a professional environment

The candidate should be able to work an average of 29 hours per week.
