About us:
Renzo Company is looking for 1 full-time Assistant Designer to join their design department. We are a family owned Children’s Clothing Manufacturer that has been making high quality heirloom garments in Chicagoland for over 50 years. In recent years we have added a new line of contemporary clothing, hand knit sweaters and toys. Our labels include Petit Ami, Zubels & Renzo. Our brands are sold in specialty stores, Belk, Dillard’s, Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, and Amazon as well as our online store.

Job Description:
-Assist Lead designer in all areas of design
-Assist Lead Designer with marketing needs (i.e.: Instagram, Facebook, Shopify, Amazon & Google)
-Participate in the full design lifecycle by understanding and studying trends & market successfully. Translate the Renzo Company aesthetic.
-Help create and update season sketches in illustrator with tech packs, & specifications.
-Assist in the development of new fabrications, trims & techniques to help enhance and refresh the line seasonally.
-Check and watch inventory for product and fabric
-Assist with photoshoots as needed
-edit photos
Required Experience:
-Excellent computer skills: Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Excel, & Outlook. (Knowledge of Amazon, Shopify and Google a plus)
-Demonstrate creativity with understanding of brand aesthetic and attention to detail
-Must be a team player
-Excellent communication skills
-Excellent time management skills.
-Ability to anticipate Lead Designers needs, manage expectations and meet deadlines.
-Strong organization skills a must – you will wear many hats
-Photography skills a plus
-BFA or BS in Fashion Design
