E-COMMERCE (Site Merchandising) INTERNSHIP - Spring/Summer/Fall 2019
JOCKEY has an exciting Internship opportunity on our corporate Ecommerce team! We are looking for a motivated, collaborative student to work with our Site Merchandising team in this cross-functional position. This role is located at our corporate headquarters in Kenosha, WI (between Chicago, IL and Milwaukee, WI area). You'll help execute our internal search strategies, coordinate photo shoots, and work with cross-functional team members (product data specialists, web designers, email marketing, site merchandisers) to enhance our online experience.

Job Scope:
- Work with our Sr. Site Merchandiser to execute internal search strategies including optimizing keyword results, updating product recommendation rules, and product page sort strategy.
- Assist in coordinating Ecommerce photo shoots - including gathering samples, product details, CADs, fit guides, copy information, and developing shot lists. Assist in reviewing product copy and imagery after photo shoots; work with cross-functional teams to load product content (via Salsify software) after photo shoots/identify and remediate on-site product data issues.
- Execute site markdowns and special pricing, as directed by Sr. Site Merchandiser.
- Work with Ecommerce team to provide links for email, site updates, and additional digital marketing initiatives for optimized customer experience.
- Assist in reviewing product sales; update product photography on the site to reflect consumer preferences.
- Ongoing review of website content for accuracy and consistency and escalating opportunities to leadership.
Candidate Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Ecommerce, or a related field.
- Strong analytical thinking skills, detailed oriented, and self-disciplined.
- Enjoys technology and involvement in a rapidly changing industry.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in time management and task prioritization.
- Must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Ability to work up to 20-30 hours per week – Spring 2019 semester, and beyond. (Flexible work schedule during school semesters to accommodate class schedules.)
