Dependency Receptionist
Requirements (Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification):
- High school diploma or GED and 1 year of work related experience.
Special Working Conditions and/or Hazards:
- Employees work indoors and are protected from weather conditions or contaminants, but not necessarily occasional temperature changes.
Job Duties:
- Registers public for Court in JCMS and maintains docket sheets for use by Case Managers.
- Directs the public, attorneys and agency personnel to assigned courtrooms and correct locations.
- Answers telephone and directs calls to proper locations.
- Maintains the Cora Line for the Court, assists the public with calls regarding Dependency hearing dates and times, and directs calls to the Public Defender's office, when appropriate.
- Facilitates paperwork for Emergency Orders, ensuring that the Court and all parties have necessary pleadings in a timely manner.
- Sorts and distributes mail.
- Assists with scanning.
- Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
