Adult Education and Literacy Intern

Supervisor: Sandra Buchholz, Director of Community Programs
Description: Assisting Level 1 ESL instructor with lessons, assisting with digital literacy classes, tutoring students who are not literate in their own language
Hours: 12 hours per week
Skills/Qualifications: Education majors preferred, excellent communication skills, ability to work with students from many backgrounds and educational levels Fluency in a language spoken by refugee populations in Houston preferred.
Compensation: This is an unpaid internship. We are happy to comply with university credit based internship expectations.
