Marketing and Communications Internship Fall 2019
These internships are available in the Fall, Spring and Summer. Ideal candidates will have basic computer skills, experience with social media and a passion for theater.Internships are part-time Monday-Friday with occasional nights and weekends (anywhere from 8-20 hours/week)All internships are unpaid, but can count towards educational credit. Applications will be considered on a rolling basis.
Responsibilities can involve dissemination of marketing materials, assisting with community outreach, participating in marketing meetings and brainstorming, researching outreach techniques, working with street teams, assisting with community activities and events, contributing to social media and other duties as assigned. Although we attempt to provide each intern with a well-rounded marketing agency experience, specialization is available in one or more of the following disciplines:
-Account management
-Copy writing / content development
-Videography / editing
-Social Media

Internships are designed for undergraduate or graduate students to have an in-depth experience of working in a not-for-profit theater company. Training can be supplemented with discussions and workshops with directors, designers and senior staff who provide insight into the overall management of the company. Interns’ relationships with their supervisor ensure that they are not only gaining valuable skills but also receiving support and feedback. While Proctors is actively recruiting for a television production internship, openings may also exist in the following areas: Accounting Internship, Company/Production Management Internship, Dance, Acting, Jazz Internships, Design Internship, Special Events/Relationships Internship, Education and Community Engagement Internship, After School Media Internship, Marketing Internship, Television Production Internship, Universal Preservation Hall Internship.
