The Greenhouse and Gardens Program in Mason’s Office of Sustainability aims to build awareness and create transformational learning experiences involving the production of sustainable food. If you are interested in working in the environmental field, consider joining our team! The Recruitment Intern/Team Leader is a paid part-time position that will assist in the operations of the hydroponic greenhouse and organic gardens by recruiting, scheduling, coordinating, educating, and directing for-credit interns, service learners, and volunteers. The candidate will also assist with outreach, research, and special events like Green Game, Earth Month, and Patriot Pack Out as well as other duties as assigned. This position requires 15-20 hours per week during the semesters and the summer, and potentially evening and weekend hours for special events.  The recruitment intern/team leader must be organized, reliable, responsive, and comfortable speaking in front of large groups. He/She/They must have strong multi-tasking, planning, researching, verbal and written communication skills.
