Spring 2019 Local Internship HR

Aflac is seeking quality elite students for our Human Resources Internship Program in our Market office in Saratoga Springs, NY. This unique internship will prepare you for a professional career in any industry along with increasing your confidence and unlimited skills in communication and recruitment. Since HR has a lot of aspects involved in it, Aflac wants to focus on one, which is recruiting, and make sure that you get the best experience out of it. Internship Responsibilities

• Recruiting potential candidates for a career in corporate sales

• Representing Aflac at Career Fairs

• Obtaining the knowledge of corporate benefit packages

• Internet recruiting - learn the ins and out of internet sites such as Career builder.com, Monster.com, and more as well as cost free resources.

• Formulate possible plans of action to rectify areas that need improvement

*The Saratoga Springs Aflac office has direct connections to the Aflac office on Wall St. in New York City. Local interns have been known to explore transferring to NYC for summer programming or positions after graduation, if that is of interest to the intern.*

Qualifications

College student earning Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.

• Excellent verbal and written communication

• Strong organization skills with flexibility to handle multiple assignments

• Minimum of 15 hours/week for 8 weeks

• All Spanish and other bilingual students seeking internship are encouraged to apply
