Entertainment Public Relations Intern
We are seeking interns with a strong interest in music and entertainment PR. Our interns work directly with senior-level management and are exposed to all facets of the industry -- from big-picture strategy to the day-to-day functions of delivering successful media campaigns for our clients who include world's leading artists, brands, executives and entertainment companies. This is a rare opportunity for learning , growth and hand's on training. We are looking for student candidates who are available beginning in August until mid- December.
THE ROLE
- Be a part of meetings, brainstorming + strategy sessions and conference calls
- Learn and assist in creating fundamental PR assets including press clips, media reports, Electronic Press Kits, press releases, media pitches, media and influencer lists, and more
- Learn and assist in managing media requests and creating event media lists
- Monitor and respond to general emails/communications press requests
- Research and update website, FB, IG, YT and other social channels
- Learn and assist in maintaining clients' shared drives with current press releases, images, videos and all other documents, as needed
- Attend client events including concerts, festivals, media junkets and more
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Be extremely organized, detail oriented and have the ability to multi-task
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
- Must provide documentation from school that you will be receiving college credit for internship
- Must be able to work out of Beverly Hills, CA office at 2-3 days a week
- Typical commitment is 10-15 hours per week
- Must be motivated and responsible
- Must be an active problem solver, instilled with a sense of urgency for projects large and small
