Marketing and Promotions Coordinator Intern/Volunteer
Project Summary:
Generations Against Bullying (GAB) is seeking a skilled marketing and promotions coordinator intern that would assist GAB in their marketing and promotions efforts.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Coordinate the development and production of internal and external publications, promotional materials, and communications, including web-based communications and social media outlets; and edit, proofread, and design materials as needed.
· Review and select vendors for advertising and production of promotional materials.
· Evaluate marketing efforts for effectiveness.
· Assist with strategic planning for assigned areas.
· Work closely with GAB office personnel, social media team, graphic designer, videographer and webmaster, and event organizer
· Other activities that may be needed
Qualifications:
· Experienced and/or educated in promotions, marketing and communications
· Understanding of social media, multimedia production, and crowdfunding
· Ability to use relevant marketing software, graphic design software and social media a plus
· Organized, analytical and detail-oriented, and have excellent time management skills
· Able to work independently as well as in a team, and flexible to changes
· Able to define priorities and work within deadlines
· Punctual, diligent, honest, reliable, and able to work smartly
· Pleasant with others on the job and display a good-natured, cooperative attitude.
Start Date: Position open until filled
Hours: 2-4 hours per week, very flexible
Compensation: This is an UNPAID volunteer internship
