Special Project Intern

This is a paid position.

The WT Alumni Association is searching for a Special Projects Intern 10- 20 hours a week to research, develop and execute new project ideas within the Association. Initial projects will be focused on Student Engagement and increasing value-added benefits to our Alumni around the country.

This individual will work with our entire team but have a variety of independent responsibilities. He or she must be self-motivated, work well with all populations, have excellent writing and editing skills, and exhibit great Buff pride and spirit. The ability to independently complete tasks of various degrees of difficulty with speed, accuracy and a good attitude is a must. Primary responsibilities will be overseeing student engagement initiatives. Planning and executing the annual Grad's Guide to Life: Things to Know Before You Go event is a big part of that, as well as assisting with other Alumni Association activities, including Homecoming and other service projects.

You’ll also expand your professional network through interaction with alumni and students.

The WT Alumni Association exists to foster pride in the University, to build and enrich relationships, and to create opportunities for lifelong engagement among the University, Alumni and Community. We believe this lifelong pride begins while you’re still a student at WTAMU and want to continue the development of a program for student engagement that helps students embrace our history and see the benefit to keeping us a part of your future. Student Engagement is just one program our Special Projects Intern will work to create.
