Treasury's Michigan Education Trust (MET) is looking for an honest, reliable and dedicated professional who can work in a team or independently and perform all the functions of accounting. MET is a 529 Prepaid Tuition Plan for individuals and families to save for future college tuition at today's rates. An Accountant with MET will help to ensure a financially strong program for students and families to navigate the costs of higher education.  The Accountant position will prepare, or assist in the preparation, of financial statements and budgets while also working in compliance and communication with the Auditor General or other audit staff. MET is a dynamic program that offers an exciting opportunity to interact with the public as well as internal staff.
