Class Room Services - Media Equipment Student Employee

Instructional Development – Media Equipment is looking for self-motivated students who are interested in providing classroom technology support in 97 general assignment classrooms, as well as public event support both on and off campus.  Applicants must have experience using Windows 7 - 10, OS X, PowerPoint and other MS Office programs. Computer science or engineering major a plus, but all majors are considered.  Applicants should have a basic understanding of audio and video systems. Experience with audio mixing consoles and microphones are a plus, but not required. Our general office hours are between 7AM and 7:30PM.  However, the University events that we support often fall outside our office hours.  We are flexible with scheduling hours and will work around academic schedules.  Additional work opportunities include campus breaks, evenings, weekends, and June Commencement. Preferential consideration will be given to people who can work during the Summer Session.  Some prearranged work outside normal business hours will be required, but scheduling is flexible. We prefer that applicants possess a valid driver’s license.
