KCSB-FM Publications Coordinator
The Publications Coordinator designs, produces, and manages distribution of KCSB publications including flyers, ads, and most importantly, KCSB’s quarterly printed schedule. A penchant for art/graphic design is a must. Experience with Photoshop and or other digital design programs is useful.
- Creates KCSB’s quarterly program schedule and directs its distribution
- Create ads for KCSB events, including the KCSB / KJUC New Volunteer / Programmer Orientation, concerts, open-mics, KCSB’s annual T-shirt design contest, etc. and directs distribution of all printed posters fliers
- Leads and directs volunteers in the creation and placement of banners, butcher-paper signage, and other related materials
- Develops KCSB informational brochures
- Develops graphics for KCSB branded items
- Co-leads and conducts a volunteer "Swag" subcommittee
Suggested Qualifications:
Should have an understanding of the radio station, our media ethics, its operations, its policies, and its bylaws. Strong leadership skills, ability to prioritize tasks, complete projects on time, and meet deadlines strongly recommended.
Overarching Executive Committee responsibilities:
- Must be present in Santa Barbara for at least half of Summer and half of Winter break (depending on the job position).
- Expected to attend all KCSB events.
- Must attend weekly Executive Committee meetings.
- Must maintain a program on FM during employment.
- Must lead and conduct a volunteer subcommittee for your department.
