Arts and Education Council - Communications Intern (FWS Only)

The Arts and Education Council seeks a Communications Intern to assist with media and communications efforts as part of A&E’s marketing team. The Communications Intern will be responsible for researching and crafting media pitches related to the 2019 St. Louis Arts Awards and other special events, writing press releases, updating and managing media archives and researching, drafting and presenting an audit of A&E’s social media channels.

The ideal candidate will be a well-organized, creative and detail-oriented self-starter who is familiar with local media outlets, proficient in social media channels and has exceptional written and verbal communications skills, particularly for print and digital media.

This position is a part-time, temporary position beginning May through early August 2018.
