Marketing & Creative Assistant- Internship with Bonus
Marketing & Creative Assistant responsibilities are to provide administrative support to the Owner and also help in the organizational process of this unique, creative position of an expanding floral design company. Stacked & Co. opened in 2013 and we're rapidly expanding in our PRIVATE WINTER PARK SHOWROOM. In need of a person with basic knowledge of interior design (but not necessary), social media efficiency, on point with seeking design trends and high organizational skills and wpuld be interested in visual merchandising, presentation of product, photo organization and pricing.
During this internship, we hope that you will be able to enhance, utilize and acquire skills that will be helpful in your profession. Skills that are taught and learned through hands-on work related opportunities in business, entrepreneurship, marketing, design and sales. The everyday work that's required to propel a business to move forward. The candidate will be supervised by the Owner, Jenna Crellin and work along side her in the day to day activities necessary to run a business. The candidate will be given several opportunities to be apart of the decision making processes, marketing influence and client experience. The candidate will also be given tasks and responsibilities to work as a team or on their own. Approximately 9-12 hours a week.
Job functions and activities include: Super fun, work environment with artificial floral stems, greenery and home decor accessories. Attending meetings on jobsites, job site walk throughs, note taking with attention to detail. Attending meetings/collaborations with Interior Designers in Showroom. Sending out quotes and final invoices for payment. Pricing out products for showroom and keeping it organized and up to date. Communicate professionally with clients and vendors. Accompany Owner on deliveries and client visits. Ability to keep high profile clients confidential when necessary. Ability to keep a calm, cool, professional, mature demeanor in front of affluent, high profile clients.
Responsibilities may include:
- Scheduling: The Marketing & Creative Assistant to the owner of the company communicates with the existing and prospective clients to arrange meetings. He/she then prepares a schedule on a daily or weekly basis and keeps the schedule updated with any changes in the time and date of meetings.
- Purchasing and storage: The Marketing & Creative Assistant will assist with vendor purchases of different design materials for projects and keeps the showroom organized. He/she makes payments to the vendors and keeps records of all the materials purchased and used in any project.
- Documentation: The Marketing & Creative Assistant prepares and organizes files/photos/mood boards for projects and all other documents for the companies current and ongoing projects. Assistant has to prepare detailed invoices and quotes for the clients.
- Designing: The Marketing & Creative Assistant participates in the selection of containers and floral stems and or greenery and prepares mock ups and digital mock ups when necessary for various projects, presentations or meetings. Assistant may also catalog photos for all the projects undertaken by the designer for marketing, promotional activities and further branding opportunities.
NOTE: Stacked & Co. is not an interior design firm. Our clients are interior designers and our showroom hosts some of the most influential design firms in Central FL. There will be a lot of interaction between our designer clients working out of our showroom as well as our own designer database. We are happy to answer any questions you may have regarding the position or to provide clarification about scope of work. Please don't hesitate to contact us if interested. ****Prefers a candidate that can continue their internship for more than 1 semester if possible. You will learn SO much more and be able to see the completion of projects worked on. Our most successful intern has stayed on for 2 semesters and became an employee for nearly 2 years with us.
