Manufacturing and Operations Intern
Job Summary
The Manufacturing and Operations Intern will partner with the manufacturing and operations team to assist with projects, process improvements, and standard procedures.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
* Assist in the development, preparation, and execution of projects
* Research and evaluate current processes and procedures
* Develop standard procedures, document processes, and implement sustainable countermeasures for KPI improvements
* Perform post project assessments
* Work with engineers and hourly staff
* Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Education and Experience Requirements
Education: Pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Business or a related discipline
Experience: No experience required
Preferred Skills and Abilities
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel
* Strong communication, organizational, interpersonal, and computer skills
* Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment
* Detail oriented, self-starter
* Project management and problem solving skills
* Experience with SAP a plus
