Multi-Ethnic Programs Student Staff
Assist Multi-Ethnic Programs staff in planning, promoting and coordinating departmental events including Early Connections orientation and ongoing EC activities through
- operational/logistical research, preparation, on-site support and troubleshooting
- communication of expectations, timelines, and details with departmental and student group partners
- development of promotional materials and social media presence
Contribute to new departmental initiatives including educational and leadership development activities
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience and leadership with event and program planning and communication
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel and Publisher (Advanced Publisher skills preferred)
- Clear communication (both written and verbal) and an awareness of how to reach different audiences
- Ability to handle multiple tasks; meet deadlines
- Demonstrated commitment to the mission of Multi-Ethnic Programs within Seattle Pacific University
- Preference given to applicants who participated in Early Connections orientation and/or who have served as an EC leader
