Verification Engineer Entry Level (JR0035805)

Job Description

Innovation is never easy. Every good idea requires a monumental amount of work before it can become a truly innovative experience, that’s where a Verification Engineer like you comes in. Verification Engineers at Intel evaluate electronic products to check for problems before they go into production. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, test equipment and bench environments, eliminate obvious flaws and consider possible ways a product might fail, confirm that components synchronize properly, and addressing specific concerns that may pertain to a particular product, redesign to improve the product, and may also be used to generate a simulation to replicate the conditions, determine which conditions may need to be present for failure to occur, determine next steps needed to address the problem and thoroughly document throughout the various stages.

You must meet the qualifications to be considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work, class course work, research, relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. Qualifications

Degree in Electric Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science

Experience with technical skills include, but are not limited to, are:

  • Semiconductor design
  • System Verilog and UVM
  • Object-oriented programming
  • Verilog and/or VHDL
  • C/C++, Perl, Python and/or TCL
  • Makefiles
  • tcsh/bash,
  • Digital, logical, Asic, and/or architectural design
  • Digital circuit design
  • Analog circuit design including PLLs          
  • Voltage regulator/IO buffer
  • Verification ant techniques
  • Writing test cases, test plans and test strategy
