Software Engineer Intern- Computer Security

Rocket Software is looking for a passionate Software Engineer to help us enhance and create computer security products. Work topics include compliance, intrusion prevention, deep learning, vulnerability management, and behavioral analysis. What you will do:

·         Study and identify pain points in existing products

·         Think, design, and implement deep learning for behavioral analysis

·         Pivot often and develop incrementally as design and requirements evolve

·         Think of new ways to improve User Experience with security information

Required Skills

What you will bring:

·         You love finding and sharing best practices and driving higher discipline across organizations.

·         Highly effective communication skills and experience on a service oriented team.

·         Be driven by, and biased towards, action and autonomy.  Work directly with coworkers and customers to figure out what's important, without waiting for assignments.

·         Educational exposure or experience with:

• Cloud computing paradigms like self-service and streamlined provisioning.
• Java or C/C++ programming
• Security concepts such as compliance and intrusion prevention
• AI / deep learning concepts
