SCORE Summer Research UG Internship

Undergraduate summer research internship hosted by the University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center in Madison, WI

Science Careers in Oncology Research (SCORE), funded by the American Cancer Society, offers undergraduates a 10‑week paid, mentored research experience in cancer science. Interns gain hands‑on exposure to basic, translational, or population health research, while building skills and exploring career paths in cancer research.

Beyond the summer research experience, interns have opportunities to continue to engage with the program throughout the school year with additional workshops, networking opportunities, and opportunities to present their research.

Participants receive a $5000 stipend. Housing is available on campus or through private sublet but is not covered by the program.
