Are you passionate about helping students reach their college goals? Did you excel on the SAT and want to turn your test-taking expertise into a rewarding, flexible career? Quality Tutoring Services is looking for dynamic, caring individuals to join our team as SAT Tutors. Hiring for SAT Math or SAT English; availability for both subjects is always a plus!

Your Role & Responsibilities:

As a dedicated tutor, you will:

  • Provide engaging one-on-one SAT prep sessions to high school students, covering either Math, Reading & Writing, or both if comfortable.
  • Guide students through the digital SAT prep format.
  • Diagnose key challenge areas, review practice test results, and create a focused study plan to help students raise their scores.
  • Teach proven test-taking strategies, pacing techniques, and time management skills.
  • Build a supportive and encouraging rapport with students, helping them stay motivated and confident on test day.
  • Schedule sessions based on mutual availability with students and families.
  • Maintain professional and reliable communication with students, parents, and our team.

Who We’re Looking For:

You are the ideal candidate if you:

  • Have a strong academic background and a verified SAT score of 1400 or higher, along with confidence in your ability to explain math, reading, and writing concepts.
  • Are familiar with the digital SAT format and its question types.
  • Are a patient, enthusiastic, and natural explainer who loves to help others learn.
  • Are professional, punctual, and reliable.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for tutoring sessions (necessary for in-home sessions).
  • Find joy in celebrating a student’s success, whether it’s a score jump or a college acceptance.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Pay: $22-$25 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
  • Flexible schedule (build your own schedule): ideal for students who may need to work around class schedules.
