CapCut Creative Campus: Student AI Template Creator | Paid Freelance Opportunity

CapCut is a leading video editing and digital content creation platform developed by Bytedance, the global technology company behind apps like TikTok and Dreamina. CapCut offers video editing, templates, and AI-powered tools that make digital content creation accessible worldwide.

Through CapCut Creative Campus, we're recruiting a curated cohort of 15–25 U.S. university students interested in AI, design, and digital content creation. Selected students will receive hands-on training in CapCut's AI image template tools, participate in creative challenges, and explore opportunities to monetize their creativity through the CapCut Template Program.

No professional experience is required — just creativity, curiosity, and a willingness to experiment.

What You'll Get

  • Earn Through Creative Challenges: Complete in-app and community tasks and earn ~$20-$30 per winning task, plus in-app bonuses. Earnings depend on task wins, template uses, publishes, and exports.
  • Access Premium tools: Get free access to CapCut Pro and AI credits during the program to experiment with premium content creation.
  • Build your portfolio: Create AI image templates inspired by viral trends and pop culture. CapCut has collaborated with artists like KATSEYE and OLIVIA RODRIGO on album-release campaigns. Be the first to work on seasonal launches.
  • Weekly skills curriculum: Receive a weekly programming with insights on trending templates. Learn from top-earning creators and tips on how to monetize your work in template workshops.
  • Creator showcase: Top selected students and their works will be featured on CapCut official and CapCut Creative Campus social channels (Instagram, LinkedIn, website) as well as invited to tour the TikTok Bytedance Headquarters in Los Angeles.
  • Unlock Exclusive Opportunities: High-performing creators may be invited to exclusive, higher-reward assignments for brand collaborations, artist campaigns, and seasonal launches, along with early access to new tools and features.

Who should apply?

  • U.S. University students of all majors are welcome, especially those interested in AI tools, design, digital media, and bytedance initatives (TikTok, CapCut, Dreamina, etc..).
  • You don't need to be an experienced designer or AI expert. We're looking for creative thinkers who enjoy experimenting with new tools and turning interesting ideas into compelling visuals.

Please fill out the application form with information about you as a student and CapCut creator. The form will ask you to create 1 template and submit it to CapCut. Students will be selected based on the quality of their submission.
