Medical Assistant in Podiatry Office

Fast-paced podiatry office seeking a Medical Assistant at our state of the art Commack office.  The ideal candidate is an individual who is friendly, detail-oriented, has strong interpersonal skills and good time management.  

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient intake, update medical records, and ensure accurate documentation
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms
• Clean and sterilize medical instruments
• Keep exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies
• Assist during medical examinations and procedures
• Medically related clerical work /some computer knowledge required

Skills

• Excellent organizational skills
• Proven working experience
• Knowledge of medical office systems and procedures
• Proficiency using patient management software
• Tech-savvy

Job Types: Full-time or Part-time

Starting $20.00 per hour

**Must be available to work a MINIMUM of 20 hours per week - - half days or full days (during business hours Mon-Fri; Saturday morning availability is required)
