Spend your summer doing real cancer research at USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center!
The American Cancer Society Cancer Research Summer Undergraduate Internship at USC Norris is a 10-week, full-time research program. We match each intern with a USC faculty mentor based on their research interests. Interns work on a project in that mentor’s lab and grow as part of a close-knit cohort.
Over the summer you will:
- Carry out a hands-on research project under a faculty mentor
- Write a research proposal with your mentor early in the program
- Attend workshops, networking events, professional development sessions
- Present your work at the end of the summer as a research poster and an oral presentation
The program is fully in person in Los Angeles. Interns receive a stipend of $5,000. Note that the program does not cover housing/relocation costs.
