OTTO's opportunity:
Our Human Resources Intern will perform a variety of duties to support the HR Team. Specifically, the Human Resources Intern will:
- Review and Update Company Job Descriptions
- Assist HR Generalist with monthly employee newsletter
- Updates all bulletin boards
- Conduct annual employee vision screenings
- Assist with yearly Fire and Tornado Drills
- Take photos of company events, as needed
- Help with company events – picnic, cookouts, etc.
- Assist Recruiter with dispositioning applicants
- Learn company's HR policies/benefits to help respond to internal staff inquiries
- Attend weekly department meetings
- Assist with other related duties as required or assigned
What you'll need to bring to the table:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Must be currently enrolled in college, seeking a degree in HR, Communications, Business Administration or a related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be computer literate – working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel applications
- Must be well organized, accurate, and able to work independently
- Curious and willing to learn new skills
What OTTO offers for this specific position:
Hourly rate: $16 per hour
