About the Role
We're looking for an Architectural Project Manager to lead projects from early concept through construction administration. This isn't a coordination-only role — you'll own your projects, drive design decisions, manage client relationships, and keep everything moving on schedule and on budget.
What you'll do
- Manage multiple architectural projects simultaneously across various phases: schematic design, design development, construction documents, bidding, and CA - Serve as the primary point of contact for clients — running meetings, presenting design updates, and managing expectations - Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and contractors to keep documentation complete and schedules on track - Review shop drawings, submittals, and RFIs during construction - Develop and monitor project budgets and fee tracking - Lead and mentor junior staff and interns on project teams - Ensure projects meet code, zoning, and regulatory requirements - Contribute to business development efforts, including proposals and client presentations
About you
- Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) - Licensed architect (RA or AIA preferred) or actively pursuing licensure - 5+ years of experience managing architectural projects - Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD; familiarity with project management tools - Strong understanding of construction documents, specifications, and building codes - Proven ability to manage client relationships and lead project teams - Clear communicator — in writing, in meetings, and on site
Nice to have
- Experience with commercial, mixed-use, or industrial projects - Familiarity with sustainable design practices - Experience with BIM coordination and consultant management
