Sunday School Children’s Religious Education Administrator and Teacher

Provide professional leadership for our youth religious education program.  Our program offers a safe and supportive space for children and youth to explore their spirituality, learn about UU principles, and build community.

We emphasize values such as kindness, fairness, and respect for others, while encouraging children to explore their own beliefs and develop a sense of social responsibility.

Tasks:

- Write weekly lesson plans using online Soul Matters curriculum 

- Work as Lead Teacher in classroom each Sunday

- Organize and attend monthly RE Committee meetings

includes writing meeting agendas, taking & distributing notes (minutes)

- Followup on action items

- Buy supplies when needed (to be reimbursed by the Fellowship)

- Update & print monthly sign-in sheets

- Communication (What’s Happening & e-mails to parents) when needed

- Update Children’s RE information for Visitor Packet (once a year)
