Program Services Internship - The Friends Program

The Program Services Internship provides hands-on experience working in the human services field with a local focus on family and mentor support and management. This position will work closely with the Executive Director to help support The Friends Program matches and programmatic activities. This position will learn about all aspects of The Friends Program by supporting matches, observing volunteer training, interviews, match meetings, and activities. This experience will provide practical, transferable skills in nonprofit administration, program coordination, fundraising, communication, and community engagement that can be applied to future careers in nonprofit management, community organizations, social services, and other mission-driven roles.
