Direct Support Professional (DSP) Contract Position

Pay Rate: $21.50

Schedule: Monday-Friday 5:00pm-8:00pm (schedule can be adjusted)

15 hrs per week

Service: 1915(i) Community Living & Support (CLS)

Community Living and Supports (CLS) helps individuals with disabilities build independence through support with daily living skills and participation at home and in the community.

Location: Waxhaw, NC

The Workshop is seeking compassionate and dependable Direct Support Professionals to provide person-centered support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. DSPs assist individuals with daily living, skill development, and community activities while promoting independence, dignity, and safety. Responsibilities include following individualized support plans, documenting services, reporting concerns, and communicating with families and the support team. 

Requirements include: 

At least a high school diploma or equivalent

Driver's license 

Passing a background check and driving history check 

Active vehicle insurance and registration 

Required trainings (training provided by agency)
