About the Role

A Jacksboro, Texas congregation is seeking a Senior Pastor to provide spiritual leadership, preach weekly, and guide the church community. This is a part-time position suited for someone called to serve a close-knit, faith-driven community with integrity and vision.

What You'll Do

- Preach and teach Sunday sermons and lead midweek services as scheduled- Provide pastoral care — hospital visits, counseling, life events (weddings, funerals, baptisms)- Oversee the spiritual direction and vision of the congregation- Work alongside church leadership (elders, deacons, committees) to set and execute ministry goals- Build relationships within the congregation and local community- Mentor and disciple members toward spiritual maturity- Represent the church in the broader community

About You

Required:- Demonstrated calling to pastoral ministry and a clear Christian faith commitment- Experience preaching and leading a congregation- Strong interpersonal and counseling skills- Ability to work collaboratively with lay leadership

Preferred:- Degree in Theology, Divinity, Ministry, or a related field- Experience in a similar pastoral role- Familiarity with small-town or rural church ministry
