Creative Marketing Internship
Are you a college student who is passionate about the fashion and retail industry? If so, Chic Soul wants to hear from you! We are looking for a Marketing Intern who is excited to gain real-world experience at an e-commerce boutique helping our Marketing and Production teams with various tasks, as well as providing creative input and strategies. All of Chic Soul’s internships include opportunities to meet with Chic Soul leaders, shadow other departments, and learn how each piece of the business works together!
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the creation of eye-catching social media story content.
- Regularly present ideas for Marketing campaigns and promotions.
- Create and implement a comprehensive competitor tracking program and present your findings to the team regularly.
- Schedule social media posts and tagging products as needed.
- Manage our social media style guide across multiple platforms.
- Perform photoshoot prep tasks including steaming garments and assisting with prop sourcing.
- Be available to join the production team on photoshoots and video shoots to assist with models and content creation.
- Assist with any social media report creation
- Assist with organization, preparation, and return of products to and from the warehouse.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing or have recently completed a degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communication or related field.
- Boasting a GPA of 2.5 or higher.
- Possessing a keen eye for detail and a results-oriented approach.
- Able to work within a team as well as on your own with minimal supervision.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and ability to thrive in an ever-changing, dynamic environment.
- Experience with Google and Microsoft Suite
**Please note:
- We will meet requirements for school credit.
- Internship would start the week of May 18th and go through July 31st.
- Chic Soul is located in Auburn, AL. This is not a remote position.
- Our in-office hours are Monday-Friday 8:00am-3:00pm with a 1 hour unpaid break. Candidates must be available to work at least 15-20 hours a week during office hours.
