MarTech Intern

The Martech Intern will support the implementation and optimization of Zippo's customer support agent within HubSpot Service Hub. The role will focus on improving customer self-service capabilities through knowledge base enhancement, AI agent configuration, testing, content optimization, and performance analysis. The position provides temporary project support for a strategic customer experience initiative while allowing the organization to accelerate deployment and improvement of support automation capabilities.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

Ability to analyze customer inquiries, support trends, and knowledge base content to identify patterns and opportunities for improvement.Comfortable reviewing data and interpreting testing results and performance metrics to support recommendations. Ability to troubleshoot issues, test system configurations, and recommend practical solutions. Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail. Excellent written communications, editing, and proofreading skills. Ability to create clear, concise, and customer-friendly content. Comfortable learning and working within new software platforms and digital technologies. Interest in artificial intelligence, customer support technologies, automation, and business systems. Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

EDUCATION AND ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS:

Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, with core Marketing coursework completed.Strong critical thinking skills and high computer literacy.Excellent reading and writing skills appropriate for professional business communication.General familiarity with marketing technology tools (HubSpot experience is a plus but not required).Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.Attention to detail and an initiative-taking approach to identifying and solving problems.
