About the Role

A boutique accounting firm in Jersey City is looking for part-time interns to join the team for tax season. This is a hands-on opportunity for accounting students to get real office experience during one of the busiest times of the year in public accounting.

What You'll Do

- Assist with administrative tasks to keep the office running smoothly during tax season - Work with accounting software used in day-to-day operations - Support entry-level accounting tasks as needed - Interact with clients — including speaking with them on the phone — in a professional and courteous manner

About You

- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting or a related field - Comfortable speaking on the phone with clients — this is a must - No prior accounting or office experience required; a willingness to learn is what matters - Reliable, organized, and able to handle a busy office environment

This is a paid, temporary position running from mid-December through mid-April. It's a solid foot-in-the-door for students who want to see how a real accounting firm operates during tax season. We will work around your school schedule to set your hours.
