About Parks Project
Parks Project is a certified B Corp lifestyle that makes goods inspired by parks that are designed to give back. Since 2014, we've given back over $2.9 million and 5,500+ volunteer hours to parklands across the country.
Our values: Creative · Passionate about parklands and the outdoors · Respect · Responsibility
The Role
We're looking for a creative self-starter to join the Parks Project Marketing team as our go-to content maker. You'll film UGC-style video, shoot product photography, and pitch your own ideas for bringing new collections to life on social.
You'll work directly with our Marketing Coordinator, take direction well, and turn it into on-brand content at a steady weekly pace. If you already make content for fun, this is a chance to do it for a brand you believe in.
What You'll Do
Content creation
- Film, edit, and deliver weekly UGC-style videos for TikTok, Instagram, and Pinterest: unboxings, collection showcases, styling, and more
- Shoot creative product and lifestyle photography for our Remade program and other brand needs
- Pitch original ideas for capturing new collections, and keep an eye on trends worth bringing to our channels
Production support
- Build product shot lists and coordinate sample delivery to our local photo studio
- Receive, log, and organize incoming samples at the office
- Communicate with manufacturing reps on sample delivery and due dates
- Organize and package any outgoing PR and other products
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned
Who You Are
- You create social or digital content already, and have work you can show us
- You're comfortable and natural on camera
- You can shoot and edit short-form video on your phone (CapCut, Instagram Edits, or similar)
- You have a good eye for photography: composition, lighting, and styling
- You're a self-starter who brings ideas, takes feedback well, and delivers on deadline
- You're organized and detail-oriented, especially with products and files
- You love the outdoors and parks
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree at an accredited university
Nice to have: experience with a DSLR/mirrorless camera, Lightroom, Canva or Adobe Creative Suite, or a personal social following.
