K-12 Staff Trainer, Minneapolis

Have you wished you could teach your whole staff the classroom management habits that work in your room? Educators in Minneapolis, Bloomington, Richfield, Edina, and St. Louis Park can apply to do that for schools.

K-12 staff trainers lead classroom management training for entire school staffs, in person or virtually. Most trainers still work in schools, so they train in the evenings, on weekends, on personal days, and in summer. Without territories, you choose the schools: close to home in Minneapolis, farther away, or online.

We've been training educators since 1993, and the total now tops 400,000 across all 50 states. We're looking for current and former K-12 teachers, coaches, counselors, principals, and other educators. We prefer a bachelor's degree.

Training starts with our virtual Weekend Certification: 36 hours over three days on two weekends, first Content Mastery and then High-Impact Facilitation. The certification can be taken for 4 graduate credits through UMass Global. Certification has tuition, and you can use sponsorship or pay it over time. Students are welcome to apply if they plan to complete certification.

Support doesn't end with the certification weekends. Orientation, materials, and ongoing help are included. Certification shows you how to reach out to schools, and that outreach brings in most trainings. Contracts and negotiations are handled by your National Director. Your status would be 1099 independent contractor, and hours depend on the trainings you book, with none guaranteed. Trainers typically earn $1,000 or more per training day and get paid every Friday.
