Educator Training Specialist, Miami

Are you an educator in Miami, Hialeah, Doral, Coral Gables, or Homestead with a reputation for strong classroom management? Since our founding in 1993, educators in all 50 states, more than 400,000 in total, have trained with us.

Educator training specialists train K-12 staffs in classroom management, in person or virtually, and help teachers use the strategies with their own students. Because there are no territories, you can work with Miami schools in person and with others by video.

Teachers, coaches, counselors, principals, and other K-12 educators, whether current or former, are who we want to hear from. We prefer a bachelor's degree. Most trainers have school jobs and train in the evenings, on weekends, on personal days, and during summers.

The trainers we work with are 1099 independent contractors, and none has guaranteed hours. Trainers are paid weekly on Friday, typically $1,000 or more per training day. You'll line up most of your trainings by contacting schools, using what certification teaches about outreach. From there, your National Director writes the agreement and negotiates it.

You'd get ready in our virtual Weekend Certification, 36 hours on three days across two weekends, with Content Mastery before High-Impact Facilitation. Once you're certified, you get an orientation, the training materials, and ongoing support. Tuition applies to certification. Sponsorship is one option, and paying over time is another. Certification makes you eligible for 4 graduate credits from UMass Global. Students may apply when they plan to complete the certification.
